Legalization

  • The document(s) must first be legalized by the Swiss Federal Chancellery.
  • Payment of the fees of 200 CHF per document

  • Send the document(s) and copy of the payment proof by post with a return ready post envelope
  • The processing usually takes 7-10 days
  • The months of June, July, November and December are excluded as due to the huge rush on visa requests the issuance could take up to a month

Unfortunately, Passports cannot be processed and/or issued here at the consulate in Switzerland.

A travel document can be issued after writing an application describing your situation and providing us with an old passport / national number.
