Document legalization guidelines

 
Here you will find instructions on how to have your document(s) legalized.

Process

  • Your document(s) must first be legalized by the Swiss Federal Chancellery in Bern
  • Payment of the fees of 200 CHF per document
  • IBAN: CH 85 0900 0000 8526 0601 5
  • Post Account No: 85-260601-5
  • Send the document(s) and copy of the payment proof by post with a return ready post envelope
  • The processing usually takes 7-10 days
  • The months of June, July, November and December are excluded as due to the huge rush on visa requests the issuance could take up to a month
